So, at last, we (daughter and I) are heading south in the fully loaded Laika. Fortunately, because the Laika is based on an Iveco Daily truck chassis, it's fully capable of handling masses of weight and that, of course, is one of the reasons we got it in the first place. The fact that it's now done nearly 90,000 miles without a murmur (almost) is why we don't trade it in for a new model.
Had an interesting experience with the SKY Freesat service. Despite only having used the SKY digibox and £20.00 Freesat card just a few weeks ago, a message came up on screen saying that I needed to upgrade my subscription to receive Channels 4 & 5. I called SKY and explained the situation. They said they would send a signal down to kick the card into life and, after 3 hours with the digibox on and the dish lined up, both 4 & 5 appeared. Say what you like about SKY but they certainly know what they're doing.
